I picture my life as a rock climbing wall. It can get very strenuous, but then, a perfect handhold is placed right in front of me that I can brace myself on for just a little while. Until I have to keep moving forward again. That doesn’t really make sense but in my head it does.

Helping people is wonderful, I agree, and the power of the Internet is monumental, we have all now seen buuut..

I feel like this situation is literally like the poisonwood bible. We can’t involve ourselves in Africa without causing problems, unfortunately. We don’t understand the culture or both sides of this endless and incredibly complicated conflict.
